Wedgwood black basalt anti-slavery medallion is attributed to William Hackwood and was originally created in 1787.  There have been several reissues of this historical piece since then, this basalt cameo was produced for the Wedgwood Collectors Society in 1969.  This medallion was limited to 1000 pieces and measures 4 inches tall by 3 inches wide.

 

The medallion is in very good condition with no damage.
