Wedgwood Tricolor Jasper Portrait of Peter Hein modelled by Bert Bentley. Piet Heim was a 17th century admiral and director of the Dutch West India Company who captured a Spanish treasure fleet. As expected with Bert Bentley's work the white relief detail is sharp and crisp, especially in the ruffled lace collar and sash. The reverse is impressed BB806, impressed name PETER HEIM and Wedgwood.The medallion measures 5.25 by 4 inches and it is in excellent condition.
